The core principle of discipleship is to reconcile people to God. Context is essential in understanding the Bible but also necessary in understanding relationships. Healthy relationships need maintenance. Broken relationships need repair, which often involves a lot of hard work if reconciliation is to be achieved. Relational relationships are vital in restoring and reconciling people to God and one another.
